The Komline-Wyssmont Double Rotocage Lumpbreaker is the best way to break-up lumps, chunks, and slabs of wet, sticky materials such as filter cakes, press cakes, moist agglomerates and caked powders. The counter-rotating cages provide the right action for breaking these materials while practically eliminating sticking and build-up inside the lumpbreaker.

Special Rotors
The rotors are the same as the one in the Rotocage Lumpbreaker. The sturdy bars are welded to the rotor in at least three places. Therefore, while fingers or pins on the rotors of other lumpbreakers can break off and enter your product stream, the bars of the Rotocage stay intact. The design of the rotors allows the Double Rotocage Lumpbreaker to break sticky lumps without overworking them. A variety of cage designs are available for use to handle each application. There is also a special design to handle large, dense blocks of sticky materials.

The Double Rotocage Lumpbreaker is available in stainless steel, carbon steel, and special alloys. It can also be made with a sanitary construction design in which all welds are continuous and ground smooth, contact surfaces are polished, and there are no crevices in which material can hold up.
