Machine Designer
Summary:
- An accomplished AutoCAD drafter with a minimum of five years experience.
- Design and detail engineered systems and equipment under general supervision.
Job Duties:
- Create mechanical layouts and assembly drawings using AutoCAD.
- Responsible for comprehensive customer and manufacturing releases, including customer drawings, specifications, bills of material, and operation and maintenance manuals.
- Create detailed drawings for machining, gauge metal work, and welding.
- Perform other duties as required by the department.

- have a working knowledge of welding and fabrication, gauge metal detailing, piping, structural steel, gears and motors, and machine design.

- be regular and prompt in attendance.
- possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.
Education and Experience preferences:
- Minimum Associate degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent, BSME is a plus.
- Minimum five years of technical experience with fundamental skills in mechanical engineering, specifically those related to equipment design and fabrication.
Prerequisites:
- Must be extremely proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
- Experience detailing for machining, sheet metal work, and welding is a must.
